our menu is constantly changing, but we're in constant supply of 5 house cocktails, three beers and two wines.
long before we opened our doors for the first time as trap. cocktail bar, the space we occupy was claimed as a gallery by one of adelaide’s first successful art groups specialising in graffiti and street art known as the toy soldiers.
disbanding in the mid-2010's, their commission work can still be found at miscellaneous places around adelaide. for our first official menu, we inspire five characters commonly found in their work and bring them back to life in the space that was once their home.
enjoy!
some people struggle to find us. get to trap. by first going down burnett street (via currie St) and then turning into cold chisel lane. towards the end of the colourful lane on the right is the entrance to trap.

reviews tell the world about your experience. we hope it was a good one!
if you're in adelaide, trap. is a cocktal bar near you -
there's an idea out there that being in a trap is always a bad thing. we're here to show you that it's not the case. some people who live at home still think they're trapped - but quite often they're not paying bills, they're not cooking or barely even cleaning - ironically, sounds like freedom to us.
this reminds us of good hospitality.
once you're at trap. you can never leave - except you are free. free from the grind. free from the multitude of choice of what to do next. free of the responsibilities of everything on the otherside of that door you just walked in from. at trap. let us look after you.
welcome home. your first time here?
